Durante los meses de verano, factores como la radiación ultravioleta, el calor o la humedad pueden modificar la expresión de las lesiones cutáneas, dificultando su reconocimiento y planteando retos diagnósticos en la práctica diaria.1,2 La estacionalidad condiciona no solo la frecuencia, sino también la presentación clínica de muchas dermatosis.1,2
Además, la fotosensibilidad puede alterar la presentación de algunas enfermedades cutáneas e incluso simular otras más frecuentes o estar asociada a patología sistémica, lo que añade complejidad al diagnóstico diferencial3. En este contexto, comprender el papel de estos factores resulta clave para optimizar el abordaje del paciente en consulta.
